Konopiste Day Trip
The Konopiste chateau was founded in the 14th century
and in 1887 it was renovated by the successor to the Habsburg throne,
Frantisek Ferdinand d’Este, who was assassinated in Sarajevo in 1914,
starting the World War I. The chateau is famous for its fascinating collection
of weapons and hunting trophies. After visiting the chateau, visit
to a renowned brewery in Benesov where you get a chance to see how the Czech
favourite beer is made.
After tasting a few beers you will be taken back to Prague by our bus.
